Terms and Conditions

And now for the serious stuff

I have taken every effort to design my website to be useful, informative, honest, and fun.

Hopefully, I have accomplished this but do let me know if you would like to see any improvements or changes that will make it even easier for you to find the information that you need.

All I ask is that you take a few moments to read these Terms and Conditions because by using this site, you automatically agree to them. Naturally, if you do not agree with them, then please do not use the website.

TREATMENTS

The information contained on this site is general in nature and is not meant to substitute or supplement the advice provided by your own GP or other healthcare professionals. Here at DivineHearts, I do NOT diagnose and claim to 'cure'; I aim to support bringing about change that can help the client's body to heal itself.

The treatments can run alongside conventional medicine but you should seek the advice of a healthcare professional before taking or discontinuing any prescription medication.

If you are running late for an appointment, please inform me at your earliest convenience as I may need to shorten the session time. If I have not heard from you within 15 minutes of the agreed time, the session is subject to cancellation.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention & Control Policy

Every one of us has been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

My priority is to keep you as safe as possible, and prior to re-opening the business, I have implemented a number of changes in the way that I operate, During the time Divine Hearts has suspended in-person sessions, I have completed the COVID-19 Awareness course and I continue to observe the guidelines set out by the Government and the governing bodies.

Booking Appointments

If you, or any of the people that you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of C0VlD-19 – please advise me as soon as possible and DO NOT COME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

If I feel ill or have symptoms of C0VlD-19, I will self-isolate immediately and will not continue to work. This may mean that I have to cancel your appointment at short notice. I appreciate that this may be inconvenient, but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled because of this,  you will have the choice of rebooking, or receive a full refund or voucher.

My treatments

I have carried out a full risk assessment on all of my services and I am confident that I can continue to provide these safely.

All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine. I will continue to take advice from the Government regarding safe practices and will amend them as necessary.

PAYMENT

Payment for treatments must be prepaid to secure the booking. If you are having a regular course of treatments (package) then the full amount can be prepaid before or after the first session.

For workshops and courses, a non-refundable 50% deposit must be paid to secure the booking. Payment must be made in full no later that a week before the first day of the workshop/course.

CANCELLATION

If for any reason you need to cancel a treatment you must inform me at the earliest opportunity.

For cancellation of a workshop or course, 50% will be refunded if we are informed no later than 24 hours before the first day of the workshop/course.

ANIMAL HEALING

As per Section 27 of the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and Chapter 19 of the Supporting Guidance for the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Code of Professional Conduct for Veterinary Surgeons, I WILL NOT:

  1. Make a diagnosis of disease in, or injuries to, animals including tests performed on animals for diagnostic purposes
  2. Give advice based on such a diagnosis
  3. Give any medical or surgical treatment to animals
  4. Perform surgical operations on animals

Veterinary requirements and considerations

Although there is no legal requirement to request or obtain veterinary consent before Reiki/Healing is offered to animals, it is recommended that any known or suspected physical health issues are diagnosed by a vet before treatment takes place. A veterinary check would also be prudent prior to Reiki/Healing commencing if sudden changes are noted in an animal’s behaviour and this is the reason for Reiki/Healing being sought. Such behavioural changes may have arisen as a result of a physical health condition.
